According to Twilight Gear, Taylor Lautner, star of Twilight and New Moon, has confirmed that he will be a presenter at this year’s Teen Choice Awards. Taylor starred as Quileute teen Jacob Black in the blockbuster movie Twilight and will assume the lead male role in this fall’s highly-anticipated sequel New Moon. In New Moon, Edward leaves Bella and Jacob is there to pick up the pieces. Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the Twilight movies, will also be attendance. Twilight is nominated in 12 categories.

Ashley Greene got personal with the Examiner talking about her new haircut, her secret crush, and even shared her beauty tips. Read the interview here at Always Twilight:

Gabrielle: What is your daily beauty regimen?

Ashley: I started using BORBA products… they’re amazing and leave my face glowing. My daily regimen usually consists of the BORBA: Age Defying Micro Diamond Cleanser, Elastin Fiber Concentrate, HD Illuminating light effects serum, Orbital Eye Rejuvenator and the Age Defying Advanced Recovery Cream. To get eye makeup off, I use the Lancome remover. I also use the MAC wipes to get all the makeup off before my regimen. And of course sunscreen…usually Kiehl’s or Dermalogica. Dermalogica also has a really great “special clearing booster” for spot treatment on blemishes.
Is your regimen any different when you’re filming?

It’s a little more involved on set with hot towel treatments and Demalogica pre-cleanse to get all that white makeup off. We use a lot Dermalogica products…I love the Microfoliant!
Do you like to wear makeup when not filming, or do you prefer to go natural?

I don’t really wear foundation…I prefer tinted moisturizer if anything. Usually after the Borba process I don’t need it – my skin is in pretty healthy shape. It’s usually Mascara, concealer and lip gloss.
You recently cut your hair (and it looks great!). Was it for your role as “Alice”, or something you wanted to do for yourself? Do you prefer it shorter or longer?

Thanks! I cut it to make my hair fit under the Alice wig properly. I didn’t have to go quite so short but I figured it’s the only time I would EVER do it. I’m a long hair girl… I’ve had long hair my whole life. It’s cute short, but I’ll grow it back out.
In your opinion, what makes someone beautiful?

I think a lot of what makes someone beautiful is how a person presents themselves. I was talking to someone the other day about how I find French woman so beautiful… it’s something they possess inherently. I feel like when someone has a zest for life they come off vibrant and beautiful.
What are your favorite beauty products?

BORBA (all of which I mentioned) and Dermalogica. I love Matrix sleek products for my hair – they work very well for me. Rose bud lip gloss is the best. YSL has a great illuminating concealer. Shiseido you can’t go wrong with either… their tinted moisturizer is great. I also just found this amazing line in Europe called “Becca;” their stuff is amazing… I have to stock up when I go back because it isn’t sold in the US!
Who is your beauty icon?

Audrey Hepburn is classically beautiful.
Did you always want to get into acting? If you weren’t acting what would you want to be doing?

I caught the acting bug when I was about 15. I was interested in a lot of things growing up… Law, Sociology, and Psychology mainly. I always loved doing make-up as well.
You hosted the DonateMyDress prom-dress drive, which looked like an amazing event! How was that experience?

It was amazing. Nothing can top that feeling of helping someone else out and seeing their joy. To see first-hand how you can give so much to someone by doing so little is incredible.
Do you ever have mornings where you wake up and just don’t feel beautiful? If so, what do you do to make yourself feel better?

Um, yeah, all the time! No one is perfect, everyone has their insecurities. The gym helps a bit Usually getting out in the fresh air helps you focus on everything around you and not so much on yourself.
When you’re not portraying a character, what are your everyday outfits? Are you more of a casual, sweatpants, jeans and t-shirt girl, or do you like to dress up?

I LOVE dressing up on red carpets but in everyday life I am a very Florida-casual, jeans, tee’s and flipflops girl. I have so many sweats I don’t know where to put them all… I love them!

What is playing on your ipod right now?

Jason Mraz and Kings of Leon. Oh and always Lady GaGa at the gym!
What is something about you that someone would never guess just from meeting you?

I’m a romantic…but only when I find the right person. Otherwise, I’m like a dude in a relationship.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years (if you’re even thinking that far down the line)?

I don’t. I can’t. I’ve got so much going on right now… my life is kind of a whirlwind at the moment.
What were you like in high school?

I was just ready to get out…..I like learning, but I get bored easily. I was very social, very involved very independent. I had a lot going on.
Who is your celebrity crush?

Hmmm……Love everyone from Kings of Leon….I’ve got a crush on the band as a whole. I maaaay have a crush on LiL Wayne and I’m pretty sure I’ve got a crush on Jackson Rathbone too.
Lip Gloss or Lip Stain?

Gloss… and Chapstick.
Heels or Flats?
Depends…. Almost ALWAYS flat during the day.

Ashley Greene, who plays feisty vampire Alice Cullen in the Twilight movies, tells the E! reporters that the cast of Twilight is trying to quit smoking. In the beginning of filming New Moon, the cast members were photographed smoking on set and criticized for for their nasty habit. Ashley also comments on Rob and Kristen dating rumors.

Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the Twilight movies, told Entertainment Tonight that her hot co-star Robert Pattinson isn’t dealing too well with his phenomenal fame. In fact, he is “freaking out,” she says.

“Poor Rob is already a Beatle. His whole life is documented,” Greene tells Nylon Guys magazine. “If he picks his nose, it’s all over the Internet. He’s just done for.”

“You don’t want to have your picture taken when you’re coming out of a club all wasted,” Green tells the publication. “It’s tough… I get a call from my mom in the morning, and she says, ‘So I see you went out again last night.’ I might as well have a GPS chip in my skin, but no, I have the Internet.”

A New Moon extra wrote these comments about her experience filming the “yellow porsche scene” in the Twilight sequel.

The scene they were filming that day was the one where Ashley and Kristen make their way up Volterra to the Piazza in the yellow Porsche. We were supposed to act as if we didn’t notice the car trying to get through the crowd until it honked and was near us, because obviously we had to get out of the way. We did the take several times, from all different directions and angles. They were using the body doubles that day and Ashley’s double was a man, which we found pretty hilarious! (Alice doesn’t have a ’stache!) We figured they chose him because of his driving experience. He was clearly very adept at maneuvering the car through the narrow streets.”

SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT STARTS PRODUCTION ON THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON

Los Angeles, CA April 15, 2009 – Principal photography has begun on Summit Entertainment’s THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, it was announced today by Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Production. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. Academy Award-nominee Chris Weitz (THE GOLDEN COMPASS, ABOUT A BOY) is the director. NEW MOON is filming on locations in Vancouver, BC and Tuscany, Italy.

Also rejoining the movie are Ashley Greene as Alice, Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Kellan Lutz as Emmett, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper , Edi Gathegi as Laurent and Rachelle Lafevre as Victoria.

New cast members include the legendary Volturi, a venerable coven of vampires who weigh and impose the laws of the vampire world, as well as two new members of the Quileute Indian Nation. The Volturi include Charlie Bewley as Demetri, Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius, Daniel Cudmore as Felix, Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus, all Volturi enforcers. Dakota Fanning plays Jane, a high ranking and powerful Volturi member and Cameron Bright is Alec, her brother. Noot Seer plays Volturi member Heidi. Michael Sheen plays Aro, the Volturi leader. Graham Greene appears as Harry Clearwater, Quileute tribal leader and old friend of Bella’s father Charlie. Tinsel Korey is Emily, the fiancé of Sam Uley.

In NEW MOON, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and she finds her loyalties tested.

Jamie Campbell Bower was last seen in Tim Burton’s “Sweeney Todd” and is the lead singer of the band The Darling Buds. Daniel Cudmore played Colossus in the “X-Men” films, “X2” and “X-Men: The Last Stand.” Dakota Fanning was last seen in Summit Entertainment’s sci-fi thriller “Push” and provided the lead voice in the animated feature “Coraline.” Graham Greene earned an Academy Award nomination for his work in “Dances With Wolves,” and has appeared in such films as “The Green Mile,” “Die Hard: With A Vengeance” and “Transamerica.” Chrisopher Heyerdahl has appeared in such films as “The Chronicles of Riddick,” “Catwoman” and “Blade: Trinity.” Tinsel Korey has worked on numerous films and television shows, from “Into The West” to “The Lookout,” opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt. She is also a singer/songwriter. Vancouver-born Noot Seer began modeling at age 13 and has lived in New York, Barbados, Guyana and New Zealand. She was a champion horseback rider prior to her modeling career. She made her film debut in the comedy “Head Over Heels,” starring Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Monica Potter. Michael Sheen last starred opposite Frank Langella in Ron Howard’s film “Frost/Nixon,” and played Britain’s Prime Minister Tony Blair to Helen Mirren’s Queen Elizabeth in “The Queen.” The award-winning actor was recently seen in “Underworld: Rise of the Lycans.”
