According to Twilight Gear, Taylor Lautner, star of Twilight and New Moon, has confirmed that he will be a presenter at this year’s Teen Choice Awards. Taylor starred as Quileute teen Jacob Black in the blockbuster movie Twilight and will assume the lead male role in this fall’s highly-anticipated sequel New Moon. In New Moon, Edward leaves Bella and Jacob is there to pick up the pieces. Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the Twilight movies, will also be attendance. Twilight is nominated in 12 categories.

Radar Online is reporting that New Moon hunk Taylor Lautner recently met with genius actor/director Gary Marshall. According to rumor, the two discussed Taylor possibly being cast in two of Marshall’s upcoming movies. Wow!

A statment from Stephanie Meyertells that Chris Weitz has made a decisionabout the role of Jacob Black… Bella’s best werewolf buddy. Taylor Lautner will keep his role as Jacob Black in the Twilight movie series. His next role will of course be New Moon.

Weitz said this:

I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I’m looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.

Meyer played a role in keeping Lautner on, no doubt due to a huge fan outcry that occurred when word leaked he may be replaced.
